Great Lego Stocking Stuffers

Great Lego Stocking Stuffers

Thursday, February 2nd, 2012

Looking for stocking stuffers for Christmas? Legos are a great gift for young people who love creative toys. My sons sure love them, and they can never get too many sets! Here are some perfect small sets to put in your kids’ stockings. Keep in mind that these Lego sets have small parts so they’re not suitable for young children who might choke on them.

Harry Potter Freeing Dobby

Harry Potter is still really popular with kids. The Harry Potter Freeing Dobby set features Harry, Lucius Malfoy, and Dobby together with a little diorama type scene. There are lots of little touches like little flames, spiders, and Tom Riddle’s diary. The set itself is really easy to put together, but it looks great. Lego did a good job making this look cool and exciting.

The great thing about this set is that you can recreate the scene from the Chamber of Secrets or just make up your own story. Your kids will have a great time acting out all their favorite scenes. To tell the truth, this set is great for adults, too! All Harry Potter fans will get a big kick out of this set.

Star Wars Snow Trooper Army Pack

Star Wars fans will love the Star Wars snow trooper pack containing storm troopers in their snow outfits, an AT-AT driver, and an Imperial officer. There’s a speeder that the storm troopers can drive, and a little missile launching station, too. Overall the set is very easy to put together (it’s a small set). The outfits look great, and of course they go with all the other Star Wars themed Lego sets.

The great thing about these sets is that putting them together is only a small part of the fun. The make believe and storytelling kids engage in afterward is what really makes these toys great. Plus they can put them together differently later to tell an even different story. Building with Legos is awesome.

City Police Helicopter

The Lego City Police Helicopter is a real looking police helicopter including rotating helicopter blades and a camera/spotlight just like you see in the movies or TV. Although the set has about 95 pieces, it’s not really a lot. A smart 5 year old should have little trouble with putting it together (and if they do you can easily give them a hint). This set goes great with one of the larger Lego city airport which doesn’t come with a helicopter.

Again, the stories your kids can make up with this helicopter are so much bigger than its small price tag — they’ll love getting a set like this in their stocking.

Lego Stocking Stuffer Reviews

These Lego sets are all so great. The Ninjago set is mainly geared towards boys. Girls will love the Harry Potter set, and so will lots of adults who are Harry Potter fans :) I think that Legos are a fantastic Christmas toy since they really encourage kids to be creative, build, and use their imaginations. Have fun with these small Lego sets for kids!
